Hey gang! Happy to report that production on Amazon continues. We believe that we’ve worked out the kinks and are back on course to finish this winter. However, holidays fast approach. We need to make some time for this special time-sensitive content, but we don’t yet know how much we’ll make. It might be 2 pinups- it could be more. This is why the calendar hasn’t been updated yet. Don’t want to promise and fail to deliver. What I can say is we’ll be finalizing the schedule this week, and be posting some content too.

Originally, the plan had been to release the older remastered comic content from Patreon (which had been long promised). Yet during the gallery creation process, we encountered a few website bugs that had been lingering and wanted to put energy into fixing those, along with tending to some other site related maintenance matters. We might still go this route and post For Love of a Girl-Side Remastered, but it could be we’ll try to release a new pinup instead and post that book later in the month.

Which brings us back to the heart of the matter: I don’t yet know which is getting posted first, FLOAGS Remastered or a new pinup, but when I do have confirmation the site will get it this week. Then we’ll start churning out content faster, update the calendar, and- most importantly- we’ll be steady with releases for the rest of the month and going forward. Appreciate everyone’s patience, not much longer to wait. It’s quiet now, but soon it will be a hentai avalanche! >:D

After numerous failed attempts to sell the stallion back to her sister, Nabiki eventually GAVE him back in an uncharacteristic gesture of generosity, claiming that he was “getting too close”.

Yet with Nabiki, nothing comes free and Akane is about to discover the naughty terms and conditions that came with her gift! >:D

Variants: Clean and a new Text Edition! As one of our earliest pinups, there was originally no dialog for this image. While remastering, we remembered the concept, and went back and gave it the script we’d originally envisioned for it. 🙂

Apologies for the slow week here at the RHB, gang. We’ve been waiting for the status of projects to come into focus before providing an update. Our goal is to outline a concrete schedule for the rest of November, and before this point there was too much uncertainty to know what would and would not be ready for release this month.

As was previously reported, Amazon has been reworked and expanded in the hopes of creating a satisfying conclusion to the current chapter. Specifically, there were concerns that the action ended rather suddenly and the long hiatus between chapters would be frustrating for readers. Other Comic Lord projects going forward will be addressed with a similar mindset, where we will make sure each comic wraps up its current chapter on a high note rather than at some awkward set page limit.

Amazon page 16 is nearly finished and will be released next week. There had been internal debate about whether we should hold this back until more of the chapter was ready for release- worries about readers feeling the presentation would be disjointed, but we feel it’s far worse to keep punting art down the road at a time we don’t have a deep reserve to tide us over (our recent art has been rather hyper detailed, taking much longer than normal to create, though we hope the results were well worth it). So we’ll continue to release Amazon pages whenever completed going forward. However, with our team putting all its focus on that project, we do not have the production capacity to make new pinups this month.

Rather than post nothing in the interim, we’ll be sharing select remastered Patreon pages. Not only will these pages feature the best resolution based on the original master art, but enhanced backgrounds, new art details, and in some cases new dialog text (for art which previously was silent). We will also be releasing a remastered comic completed as part of the Patreon project. This remastered content period will last at least 3 weeks, but no longer than is absolutely necessary to give Amazon the production time it needs to shine.

We realize that our community is primarily here for new content and this period of posting remastered content must be as brief as possible. For this reason, we have reached out to our artist friends, ones who have previously created art for the RHB, and expanded production for December. So while we won’t have any new pinup content this month, we’ll be packing late December with as much as possible to make up for these production delays. It probably means the team will be working through the holidays, but our community deserves our best effort, our best art, and will get both as we try to end 2020 on the brightest note possible in what was a very dark year for the world.

Amazon Update: Derekloffin and SHADE have expanded and reworked the back half of the project to make sure the current chapter ends on a satisfying note. Expect Amazon to return around Thanksgiving.

Some reshuffling has occurred to allow certain, densely detailed pinups to get more coloring time (check the Calendar for updates). Always tough to delay content, but we didn’t want to rush these out and felt they needn’t be labeled “Halloween” to be relevant. This has resulted in us promoting a different Special as our Halloween treat for the season.
